VYBE privacy policy
Last updated November 5, 2026 · VYBE was formerly called Fitboy.
What VYBE stores
- Your account: the email address or Sign in with Apple ID you sign in with (Apple may give us a private relay address), plus the name and profile photo you choose to add.
- What you log: workouts, cardio, sets, exercise notes and settings, splits, food and macro totals, weigh-ins, diet phases, workout vibes, exercise and progress photos you take, voice notes you record, and workouts you import from Strong or Hevy.
This is kept in your account with our hosting provider (Supabase). The database and file storage only let a signed-in account read and write its own data. Photos and voice notes are kept in private storage, not public links. The developer can reach the project's database to run and repair the service, and uses that access only for that.
Apple Health
If you choose to connect Apple Health, VYBE can:
- Read your body weight, dietary energy, protein, carbohydrates and fat, step count and resting heart rate.
- Write the workouts and cardio sessions you log in VYBE.
Health data is used only to show and fill in your own log inside VYBE. Weigh-ins and daily food totals that VYBE brings in become part of your log and are saved in your account like anything you type in. Steps and heart rate are only shown on your phone and are not stored by VYBE. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, never sold, and never shared with third parties or data brokers. You can change or remove VYBE's access at any time in the Health app (your profile → Apps → VYBE).
Crash reports
If the app runs into an error, it sends a short report to VYBE's database so the problem can be fixed: the error message and technical details, the app version and your phone's iOS version, linked to your account. Reports don't include your workouts, food or photos.
Microphone, camera, photos and music
The microphone is used only while you are recording a voice note. The camera and photo library are used only when you choose to take or pick an exercise photo, progress photo or profile picture.
Reminders are scheduled on your phone; nothing is sent anywhere to deliver them. If you allow access to Apple Music, the song that's playing is shown on the workout screen and is never saved.
LMP Radio
LMP Radio in VYBE plays live DJ mixes from LMP (iamlmp.com). To play the radio, show what's on, and show the DJ of the week and LMP's latest video, your phone connects to LMP's servers. Like any website, they see your IP address and basic device information when they serve the audio, artwork and station details. You don't need an LMP account, and VYBE never gives LMP your VYBE account, email, name or anything you log.
Listening reports. So LMP's DJs and stations can see how much they're played in VYBE, the app sends LMP short, anonymous reports: when you start the radio or change station, how many seconds of each mix you listened to (sent about once a minute while it plays, and only once you've listened for 30 seconds or more), and when you open an LMP link from VYBE. Each report has the station, the mix, the app (VYBE) and your phone type (iPhone or Android), plus a random ID made on your phone. That ID isn't linked to your VYBE account, your email or your phone's advertising ID, and VYBE doesn't use the advertising ID at all. Signing out or deleting your account replaces it with a new one. You can turn reports off at any time in Settings → LMP Radio. LMP handles the reports under its own privacy policy at iamlmp.com/privacy.
Links into iamlmp.com and YouTube carry tags that say they came from VYBE, so LMP can count visits from the app. VYBE doesn't save which mixes you played, except that while a workout is in progress your phone notes which LMP mix played longest, so your workout's share card can credit it. That note stays on your phone.
Service providers
- Supabase stores your account and data.
- Expo delivers app updates; your phone checks it for new versions, which shares basic app and device version information.
- Vercel hosts the VYBE web app (fitboy-sigma.vercel.app).
- LMP (iamlmp.com) hosts this website (vybefitness.app) and provides LMP Radio, the DJ of the week and LMP's videos, and receives the anonymous listening reports described above, if you leave them on.
- GitHub, only if you add your own GitHub token in Settings: VYBE then also copies your log to the GitHub repository you choose.
These providers only process data to run the service. VYBE uses no advertising networks, no ad tracking and no third-party analytics tools. The only usage reports are LMP Radio's anonymous listening reports.
Deleting your data
In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete account. This permanently deletes your account, everything you logged, and your photos, voice notes and crash reports. Data written to Apple Health stays in Health, where you can delete it yourself. LMP Radio listening reports aren't linked to your account, so they can't be looked up or deleted with it. Deleting your account replaces your phone's random ID, so later reports can't be connected to earlier ones.
Children
VYBE is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
